Any organization that brings together celebrities and politicians alike to support change and action is A-OK with us. Which is why this year’s Service Nation Summit on Sept. 11 and 12 was a huge hit; bringing out Hillary Clinton, Jon Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys, and Usher to support uniting Americans through voluntary community service. But it was Usher who held the honor of being named Service Nation’s Youth Chair.

“National service is obviously a way to address social challenges like education, like the environment, public health, fighting poverty, disaster relief like the Gulf Coast and Katrina and Gustav,” Usher told USNews.com. “I also believe that we have the ability to see our nation and generation become known as generation S. What is generation S? It’s ages 18 and under that are making a difference.”

Sounds like a feasible plan to us, who witness the young generation making a difference with Do Something daily! And with these words of wisdom, who better than Usher to head Service Nation’s youth efforts? CGG says let's turn Usher’s generation S dream into a reality!
