Who won the stand-up?

You saw the comedians do the debate, now what about the real guys? Can they do comedy? Check out John McCain and Barack Obama at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation dinner last night, which raised over $4 million for needy children. The candidates roast each other over age, Joe the Plumber, friends, the economy and more.

McCain announces that he has dismissed his entire staff, saying, "All of their positions will now be held by a man named Joe the Plumber." He then jokes, "Even in this room full of proud Manhattan Democrats, I can't shake the feeling that some people here are pulling for me. I'm delighted to see you here tonight, Hillary."

Obama finally answers the question on his greatest weakness: "It is possible that I am too awesome." And he confronts McCain about comparing him to a celebrity. He responds that it made him so angry that he punched a paparazzi in the face, and even spilled his soy chai latte all over his Shih Tzu. How embarrassing.

Watch both clips above and then let us know who you think is better at stand-up? Cast your vote in the comments section!

And be sure to check out the real McCain vs. Obama to know where they really stand.

Wow, I'm impressed! At least they both have the option of stand up comedy if this whole president thing doesn't work out.

My opinion: Obama was talking about Issues that Matter, while McCain was talking about...Obama. During these debates, McCain was the biggest eye-roller and sigh (oh, what a stupid response) -er ever!

McCain was clearly reading off of a script that someone wrote for him. Obama was much more warm and a better deliverer. I can't vote yet but I sure am going to try and convince my parents to vote Obama!

Is it just me, or the old guy behind Obama didn't understand the jokes?
For me it seemed like he is only laughing when no one else does and vice versa.
I'm not being disrespectful, I'm just blaming the people who seated someone behind Obama, who is not quick enough to get the jokes, or not a good actor enough, who can fake laughing.
Anyhow, if someone else would sit behind Mr. Barack I wouldn't be distracted. And this comment would be about the difference between the two speeches. Well this is life.
