Chenoweth has no hesitations in being vocal about the Father’s Day Frosty Weekend at Wendy’s – because part of the sale of each Frosty will be donated to charity. Sounds sweet, right? Chenoweth herself is an adoptee and a passionate supporter of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a group whose mission is to increase the adoptions of children in the U.S. foster care system. Being adopted is a personal issue for Chenoweth, but it’s not a fact she is afraid to share. Earlier this week, she devoted some quality time to getting to know foster children in the Manhattan area during the launch of the foundation’s new “Wendy’s Wonderful Kids” program.
