Will Edward Norton please rise?

Actor and Crowdrise founder Edward Norton spoke at yesterdays Social Good Summit hosted by the 92nd Street Y, the United Nations Foundation and Mashable.

He spoke about his hesitations on joining the social media frenzy. In the beginning he thought it was all about narrating your personal life. Then it struck him that people are informing each other and giving ideas. With that he created Crowdrise.com.

He described Crowdrise as a fun “take action” site that allows you to meet people from around the world working towards similar goals. People are raising money and awareness for things they are passionate about.
