The hansom Doctor McDreamy is auctioning off himself for charity! Money can’t buy happiness but on Charitybuzz.com it can buy you a date with Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey for a day at the races at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida.

Last time we checked, the bid was up to $7,000! At least the money is going to a worthwhile cause. It benefits “Fired up For Kids” which is a non-profit organization that holds auctions to benefit the Children’s Hospital Burn Center. Proceeds are used to provide patient care, education, equipment and community involvement.

If you don’t have the cash to date the doctor, you can still help sick kids in so many ways. Volunteer in the pediatric wing of your local hospital or cheer up a child by sending get well cards.
