The L.A. District Attorney's office is gearing up to pin criminal threat charges on Chris Brown, who is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow after allegedly assaulting girlfriend Rihanna the night before the Grammys.

The recent sunny reunion of the two young hip hop stars has created a tricky situation for the L.A. police department and district attorneys who hope to convict Brown. Rihanna has also refused to press charges against her boyfriend, leaving the lawyers to come up with solid evidence without her input. Many doubted that they would be able to put together a case by tomorrow, but so far it looks like the court dates will go on as planned.
