"People who love this country can change it"

As we told you earlier, Barack Obama addressed thousands of people at the Lincoln Memorial today. Obama thanked people for traveling from all over the country and “braving the cold and crowds” to join him in celebrating a new era of “American renewal.”
Obama admitted that the times ahead will be tough and that Americans are dealing with loved ones fighting abroad, “stacks of bills” and some are “anxious and uncertain about the future.”
But, ever-the-optimist, Obama is calling on us to rise to the challenge: “In the course of our history, only a handful of generations have been asked to confront challenges as serious as the ones we face right now…but despite the enormity of the task that lies ahead – I stand here today as hopeful as ever that the United States of America will endure – that the dream of our founders will live on in our time.”
Our next president believes that change lies ahead and as he said today “you proved…that people who love this country can change it.”

Obama is really getting out there to the community and trying to get us to the same. Everyone should go out there and volunteer!
I'll pick up litter when the snow melts and see if I can ask for donations for Greenpeace next time I have a gig! I play guitar.
