Christina Aguilera Uses Her Voice To Help Fight Hunger

It's no secret to anyone that Christina Aguilera has an incredibly powerful voice. She's now using it for good by helping to spread awareness about hunger.

Aguilera has been an inspirational spokeswoman for the cause, according to an ambassador for the United Nation's World Food Programme (WFP). The legendary singer has been openly speaking about the challenges of feeding the world’s growing population of 7 billion and counting, and has also helped raise awareness about the work WFP has been involved in to fight this social issue affecting so many.

Christina is continuing her work during the Thanksgiving season by showing her fans how fighting hunger is not only a great way to give back, but also an important one. On November 21, she will be auctioning off two tickets to her NBC show “The Voice”. Winners will also get the opportunity to meet Christina backstage in Los Angeles.

This is certainly not the first time Christina has given back by helping WFP. In 2010, she visited the WFP school meals program in Haiti. Because of the impact the children there had on her, all of the funds raised during the auction will support WFP operations in Haiti.
