Happy 22nd Birthday Taylor!

In honor of Taylor Swift’s 22nd birthday, we want to highlight some of the great contributions she has made this year.

In May, Taylor hosted the “Speak Now… Help Now” benefit event in Nashville to help victims of the deadly tornadoes that hit the Southeast. Taylor opened her last dress rehearsal for her Speak Now Tour to 13,000 fans who were able to donate to the cause as well. We even awarded Taylor for her generosity with a Do Something award.

Taylor also donated $50,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this year with the help of the American Academy of Music who doubled her amount.

In July, Taylor auctioned off four tickets to her New Jersey concert to four lucky fans who were able to meet her back stage. The talented country singer went a step further by donating the proceedings to the TJ Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and Aids research.
