Did you know that…?

  1. New York City carriage horses are allowed to work 9 hour days, seven days a week.
  2. There are no pastures for these horses to craze, run, or socialize with other horses.
  3. It’s illegal for a NYC driver to operate a carriage when the temp is 90 degrees or higher or 18 degrees or lower. These guidelines don’t factor wind chill or humidity index.
