Quote of the Day: Barack Obama

"[A]t a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married."

President Obama made the above statement today, becoming the first U.S. Prez to publicly endorse same-sex marriage. The statement came in an interview with Good Morning America that is expected to air later this week.

Obama attributed his interaction with friends and professional colleagues as a huge influence. The Big Cheese also considered the commitment of proud same-sex couples in the military (amidst the ghost of Don't Ask, Don't Tell).
