Teens to See Minimum Wage Cut?

Need a part-time job? You might want to steer clear of the restaurant biz because of potential minimum wage cuts.

Arizona lawmakers are pushing a bill that would lower the salary of teen part-time and tipped workers (seriously?). The proposal cuts $3 from the current $7.65 minimum wage standard.

Part-timers could end up making a whopping $4.65 an hour if it’s approved.

This bill would also lower wait staff and other tipped workers’ salaries. The $4.65 minimum wage for these jobs would see an over $2 slash.

Florida legislature has a similar proposal. The $4.65 state minimum wage for teen servers could be lowered to $2.13. Just think of all the things you can do with kinda money!
