Recently traded to the New York Jets, Tim Tebow was in Montgomery, Alabama to speak on behalf of the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama (CWFCA) Friday.
Sponsored by Baptist Health, over 2300 people attended “An Evening with Tim Tebow.” The former Denver Broncos quarterback talked faith, college football, and the foundation’s support of cancer patients with/without insurance.
Tebow signed jerseys, which sold for as much as $6,000, at the live auction and all proceeds went to CWFCA. The organization currently supports 1,043 cancer patients in over 33 different counties in central Alabama, offering services such as transportation, medications, and nutritional supplements.
Tim Tebow has been making a philanthropical splash with his foundation, which aims to inspire and make a difference in people’s lives throughout the world.
What can you do?
