This past Thursday, VH1 aired the second annual Do Something Awards, which represents a partnership between the music channel and DoSomething.org to honor young people’s commitment to social change. The awards ceremony was hosted by Jane Lynch and featured performances from Demi Lovato, OneRepublic with B.o.B, and Foster The People along with an all-star lineup of presenters, which included Kristen Bell, Nick Cannon, Jon Cryer, Victoria Justice, Adam Lambert, Mario Lopez and more.
It seems that Adam Lambert did not read the style memo before attending the VH1 2011 Do Something Awards, because according to Rose McGowen, “Black is Out!” At least that is what she informed Adam during their joint presentation of the “Style Award” during the program. Adam, who was dressed in all black, played the joke well, looking horrified at the thought of black not being fashionable.
Sure, VH1's "Do Something Awards" are all about celebrating community involvement and giving back and all that fancy jazz. And the awards brought together all kinds of people from different walks of life in the spirit of doing good. But there were also some pretty hilarious photos from the night, and we wouldn't be doing our job if we didn't share them with you.
The 2011 Do Something! Awards, hosted by Jane Lynch, air tonight on VH1.
Demi Lovato and B.o.B are among the night’s performers, with presenters including Kristen Bell, Nick Cannon, Victoria Justice, Adam Lambert, Olivia Munn and Mario Lopez.

I'm not a big fan of adults, and I'm frankly beginning to doubt their ability to make our world a better place. Take Congress -- please. On the other hand, I've been heartened in recent weeks by working on The 2011 VH1 Do Something! Awards -- which airs tonight at 9PM. The show -- hosted by the amazing and consistently hilarious Jane Lynch -- puts the spotlight on young people making a difference by "rocking the causes" that matter the most to them, as well as celebrating lots of more familiar celebrities who use their star power for the common good.
