Jake Gyllenhaal stands up to cancer
Jake Gyllenhaal believes in miracles. In this new public service announcement, the Prince of Persia star has teamed up with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) and Major League Baseball (MLB) to fight cancer and "make cancer history."
SU2C brings people together in support of finding a cure for cancer and raising funds for cancer research. The organization has teamed up with the MLB to help accomplish this goal. And in this PSA, Jake compares winning a baseball game to beating cancer. He believes that when people work together, miracles can happen.

Just don’t call him four-eyes. He may be an A-list actor, but Jake Gyllenhaal is still like a lot of us – he wears prescription glasses. So Jake is lending his support to New Eyes for the Needy, an organization that gives out vouchers for folks in the US to receive free eye exams and glasses, and also donates prescription glasses to people in developing countries.
