On Sunday night, the Hollywood Palladium was packed full of celebrities for the 2011 Do Something Awards.
The Do Something Awards is an awards show that honors young people's commitment to social change and Some Hollywood's youngest talent turned out for the event, including Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Victoria Justice and many more.
Actress Victoria Justice walked the blue carpet in a gorgeous red Jay Godfrey dress paired with Guiseppe Zanotti heels, a Lauren Merkin clutch and jewelry by Sydney Evan.
Most awards shows focus on the glitz and glamour of Hollywood’s elite. Between A-list actors and platinum-hit record singers, much of the attention goes to the who’s who in attendance. Wouldn’t it be nice to watch an awards show that celebrated the good that every day people do?
I'm not a big fan of adults, and I'm frankly beginning to doubt their ability to make our world a better place. Take Congress -- please. On the other hand, I've been heartened in recent weeks by working on The 2011 VH1 Do Something! Awards -- which airs tonight at 9PM. The show -- hosted by the amazing and consistently hilarious Jane Lynch -- puts the spotlight on young people making a difference by "rocking the causes" that matter the most to them, as well as celebrating lots of more familiar celebrities who use their star power for the common good.
On Sunday night I attended the VH1 Do Something Awards at the Hollywood Paladium. I got to catch up with the gorgeous and talented Demi Lovato! I introduced her performance on stage and she was so amazing! I also got to spend a little time chatting with Tyra Banks, and even ran into Justin Bieber!
The awards air this Thursday at August 18 at 9pm ET/PT on VH1 so make you tune in to watch.
I wore this stunning dress by Antonio Berardi, Fendi shoes, Judith Leiber clutch, and a ring by Karma from Roseark.
The 2011 Do Something Awards don't air on VH1 until August 18, but Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Sophia Bush, Mario Lopez, Kristen Bell, Jane Lynch and many more stars walked the red carpet for tonight's ceremony. Check out the PHOTOS here! Read more...
