Justin Bieber was a big winner at the VH1 Do Something! Awards, taking home the award for Best Music Artist. He is undoubtedly ecstatic about the honor and girlfriend Selena Gomez is surely very proud of her man. According to Hollywood Life, VH1 will broadcast the awards show at 9PM on August 18, but it was filmed at The Hollywood Palladium Sunday evening. While Bieber anticipated his walk along the red carpet, it seems he didn't anticipate winning the award.

Hollywood’s most generous stars dazzled on the blue carpet at Sunday night’s 2011 Do Something! Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Allie is Wired was there to catch it all! The Do Something! Awards honor young people’s commitment to social change and also award celebrities who give back.

Dozens of celebrities, including Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Victoria Justice and Adam Lambert, gathered in Los Angeles on Sunday night for the annual Do Something! Awards, an event in which they were able to honor their peers and some of the most devoted young people in the country committed to social change.

While the 2011 Do Something! Awards don’t air on VH1 until August 18, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Sophia Bush, Mario Lopez, Kristen Bell, host Jane Lynch and many more stars walked the red carpet for tonight’s ceremony. The event honors young people’s commitment to social change. Lovato will perform during the telecast, and presenters including Olivia Munn and Nick Cannon will be part of the festivities, too.

Adam Lambert attended the VH1 Do Something Awards Sunday night. After walking the red carpet, he and actress Rose McGowan presented the Do Something Style Award to Tyra Banks. Adam was also nominated for the Do Something Music Artist Award, which, of course went to teen singing sensation, Justin Bieber. Demi Lovato performed her powerful single, “Skyscraper” at the awards, prompting Adam to tweet her a sweet compliment, “@ddlovato sang her face off tonight. Damn girl!”
