Do Something Awards to air Thursday, feature Oklahoma celebrities
Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire and Ronnie Dunn are among the nominees, Olivia Munn is a presenter, and Ryan Tedder and OneRepublic are performing.
Several Oklahoma celebrities will perform, present and compete for awards when the 2011 Do Something Awards air at 8 p.m. Thursday on VH1.

“Glee” star Jane Lynch returns to host the Do Something Awards for the second year at 9 p.m. Thursday on VH1. The event honors celebrities who better the world through their activism. But one category salutes everyday people who are younger than 25; that winner will receive $100,000.
DoSomething.org and VH1 have announced their lineup of presenters for the Do Something Awards, airing August 18. Among the presenters are Nickelodeon’s own Victoria Justice, Keke Palmer, and Nick Cannon. Other presenters include Kristen Bell, Jon Cryer, Adam Lambert, Mario Lopez, Rose McGowan, Olivia Munn, and Lauren Potter. “Glee” star Jane Lynch will host the ceremony.
