"We just have to remember that we're at the top of the food chain. And as Spiderman says, 'With power comes great responsibility’…I don't know why I quoted Spider-Man there, but it seems quite appropriate.”

NYC teen: I stuffed cat in 500-degree oven

A kitty killer hissed angrily at animal rights activists Wednesday, after taking credit for stuffing the helpless pet into a 500-degree oven.

As Cheyenne Cherry, 17, exited the courtroom, after pleading guilty to two charges, she passed a row of animal rights activists who said they represented more than 20,000 people who signed an online petition supporting harsh punishment for Cherry.

"Justice for Tiger Lily," read one sign held by the demonstrators.

Cherry grinned widely, stuck out her tongue and responded, "It's dead, b*tch!"

The best celeb accessory these days is not giant shades or UGG boots—it’s a pint-size-pooch! No wonder New York celebrities like Ugly Betty’s Michael Urie showed up to the 11th annual Broadway Barks event this Saturday.
