We are trying to save the youth that gets lost in the system through the No Child Left Behind Act. We work with at risk youth to improve their grades so they can graduate middle school and move onto a high school as opposed to a continuation high school. We also strive to promote healthy lifestyles through exercise. A lot of students come from low income families and single parent households, so we like to maintain a positive approach to bettering their attitudes and their outlook on the importance of education.

Many of the children at Knotts Elementary live in poverty and therefore struggle with school because of the effect poverty has on developing children.

I want to give children between the ages of 8-12 a place to learn and make friends without it being a school setting. I want to help eliminate the in between feeling that older Elementary students feel after they no longer benefit well from children programs but are not quite ready for Middle school programs.

The problem that I am assisting with is helping those in need of Christ. Also to assist those who live in poverty. There are Americans in this world that spend more money on lottery tickets than they do on assising those who really need the money. My goal is to help not just America but the world, because I know that we are becoming a country fixed on money or shall I say greed. But not just America, it's all the countries around us, and there are too many children that deserve a better future. And I will not allow for them to suffer.
