I am targeting the community of Chipulukusu located in Ndola, Zambia, Africa. This is very impoverished community where thousands of orphans due to AIDS live with either extended family or on the streets. A local orphanage/school was discovered in 2005 now called Mapalo Morning Glow Academy. My first issue I am tackling is the need for the students at the orphanage to have proper soccer uniforms as they have 3 teams that compete in tournaments. Cuurently, they borrow uniforms and equipment from other schools.

In areas where poverty and disease are rampant, child-headed families are becoming increasingly prevalent. This is especially true in under-developed areas of Africa, where HIV-AIDS continues to claim the lives of numerous adults. Armed with little education and few survival skills, youth as young twelve are left of provide for their entire families by their own faculties. They are literally robbed of a childhood. Additionally, while many foundations focus their efforts toward young children, very little funding is available to assist teenagers.

Children all over the world are being kept from obtaining an education. It is our responsibility to give them opportunity of getting one.

I live in Valrico, Florida, and my High School is the the top schools for STD's, Hillsborough County, where I live, has a crime rate of 5 out of every 100 people breaking the law, and my neighborhood personally has a big drug problem where cops are in my neighborhood every week. My Community is not the only place that has problems like this, but I am studing to become a law enforcer so that I can lower crime and crime rate!

The problem I am trying to solve is to edcuate teens to recognize if their dating relationships are healthy or unhealthy, and if unhealthy to promptly do something about it.

I am trying to raise awareness to on the subject of Teen Dating Abuse. Girl tend to think it can never happen to them and they are the ones that need to be the most aware. I wrote a play on Teen Dating Abuse last year and had about 100 people come to watch it. It was a small cast but the message was big. The cast is planning on putting on another performance.
