When a family member is ill, the entire family is impacted. This is especially true when the family member in question is a child. It is my hope and goal to work with the pediatric units of hospitals to create a program that will help the families as well as their young patients. This could include recruiting volunteers to help with transportation and preparing meals to working with outside organizations to help with childcare for the other children in the family.

I'm trying to solve child obesity. Obesity is very popular amongst children. Physical education and games need to be reincorporated into children's lives. The center will have nutritional counseling and nutritionist on staff to educate the families as well as the children.

My project is my involvement in Queen's Health Outreach, a university student run project that aims to provide sustainable, culturally-appropriate development through health and education promotion.
Through this organization, I will be spending eight weeks traveling to Guyana to empower young people to be healthy and safe.

It's a project to help the diabetic patients. It allows the patients to get their glucose check, blood pressure check, and many more other things.

Help support the Green Girl Fund. This is a fund to help women in need of financial assistance. Primarily women who have had some sort of outstanding hospital bill due to pregnancy complications or miscarriages. We know that this must me a horrible obstacle to go through and we want to show them as women we understand. We want to show them that we are here to help and even if it is just by a little bit of money, prayers, and out encouragement, it is the least we can do. Please help us help these women.
