Rebel army finds safe haven in Darfur

News out of Darfur, Sudan this week has experts worried that Uganda’s Lord’s Resistance Army has found shelter in the neighboring country Sudan. The LRA has been in northern Uganda since the 1980s, contributing to Africa’s longest running civil war, and is responsible for recruiting hundreds of thousands of Ugandan children as child soldiers and sex slaves.
