why it's important:

It is important to me cause i hate to see my society go down hill and suffer from poverty. I came from a rough childhood and i know what it feels like not to have nothing i just want to give back and bea ble to help and give back to all.

the plan of action:

My plan to open up more shelter facilities food programs, build more schools and universities, afterschool programs keep kids engaged.

I would like to make a universal paradise for everyone on the Planet through Investing and Inventing Technology and Extreme Science Advancements in Nano Technology that can do anything you can imagine, solve all your problems in any, create practically invincible anything, etc...

I want to do it as I want to do something, anything to get the technology I want.

the plan of action:

I would like to create some inventions I design. I would like to do college, I want to be there to know graphic design and make money to invest with. There are small projects I can do with small amounts of money and there are large projects with a lot of money. Example: A Nano Technologically advanced Volumetric Molecular Scanner that can scan something and make a digitally programmed 3d working copy of it can work with a nano machine with a compupter where you can do anything you want to it instantly. That includes people, objects, items, anything you can think of, completely stop the need for farms and animals farming as all the acids and minerals can be practically instantly printed off a computer with this. I like to think it would cost around $990 Billion USD to design the Scanner. With the Scanner, it can be designed quickly and distributed everywhere. I am the only person in the universe that I know of actually doing something about it.

What I would like to do to make the money is make a Electric Generator that creates its own electricity to power things like helicopters and jets. I already design it and I can talk to engineers that can make it although it would be a hard concept as anyone I explain it to that thinks they know how to do it greater would just do it themselves, take small amounts of investment and the money that would be needed for the scanner would be distributed to lots of people at large companies an they wouldn't do anything to design the scanner. I would like to think that I would need more power from the electric generator as a idea to make people want to buy it. I design a lot of inventions and I can make designs and everything I would need to show engineers how to design them. The electric generator I design is about less than $100.00 in resources, and is less than a few LB's. It is in the shape of a acorn. I call it the Acorn. It is not all about the generator's. I design a lot of inventions and a lot of ideas, companies, etc... that are all amaing and I would like to think that people are interested in what I am interested in though I would like to be around people like that in college environment's.

We are spreading awareness about different worldwide problems by participating in this competition which has its course based off of worldwide problems. By participating, we are promoting this competition and inspiring others to join through our performance.

why it's important:

This competition is very important to me because it covers areas of work in my ideal future career. There are also many environmental problems where I felt that more should be cone, and this competition promotes actions to solve these problems by spreading awareness.

the plan of action:

We Will attend a Botball Training meeting and meet every Saturday to work on our robot for the competition.

They can start Botball teams of their own and participate in this competition.

the problem:

I want to help raising money for orphans in the community. By skipping recess to pick up trash, I help keep the playground clean and I also bring attention to my greater hope to make and sell bracelets to help kids without families.

I think all children need a family. Helping others is the right thing to do.

the plan of action:

I want to continue to pick up trash at recess and help people know that they can help impact the community to. By getting donations for what I do at recess, I can make and sell bracelets to help Houston orphans.

how you can get involved:

By encouraging kids to give up recess at least one day a week to pick up trash and bring attention to the cause. Also people can purchase bracelets or donate to my project so I can buy material to make more bracelets http://dld.bz/a6H6f

Lifted Hands (a faith-based outreach organization) is sending out an “SIS” for service to people around this world to elevate the priority that service has in their lives. It doesn’t cost a thing! The SERVICE IS SIMPLE Campaign strives to help people begin to lead lives of service each and every day. The campaign runs 12 weeks (11/11/11 – 2/2/12). We're asking 100,000 people worldwide to stand up and say “I’m a servant!” This is a great way to end the year strong and begin the new year on the right foot.

the problem:

My project provides inspirational, customized composition books (“Notebooks for Peace”) to marginalized and vulnerable youth, particularly in conflict zones, through youth empowerment-focused NGOs. The children in these areas usually have endured much trauma in their lives, yet they exhibit resilience and appreciate every little act of kindness - something that has always inspired me. I want very much to give them a present, in this case, a personalized notebook just for them!

Notebooks for Peace falls comfortably in the following categories: community empowerment and development, literacy, education, youth empowerment, self-expression, art, social change, social justice, conflict resolution.

The notebooks allow youth in unstable environments to express themselves and collaborate; they are tools to help youth organize and mobilize. Notebooks for Peace are an outlet for artistic expression and a tool in the struggle for social change and justice. I hope that not only will the notebooks bring a smile to the children's faces, but it will also allow them to express themselves and thus deal with the experiences in their past.

the plan of action:

I had the idea for Notebooks for Peace in the middle of the night. I designed the notebook myself - my friend allowed me to use his social justice painting as the front cover, and the inside cover includes an inspirational poem from my poetry book. I am having them manufactured by Walgreens, and hopefully will be given a discount on purchasing 100+ books from them.

Each shipment of notebooks costs between $1,000 - $1,500, depending on location and amount of books needed, and I want to fundraise the entire project through contributions by the global community and other fundraising events such as bakesales at my alma mater, New York University. Because I know that people often need an extra push to donate to a cause, I offer rewards for each pledge of $1 or more. The details can be found on the site.

Empowering Students works as the link between student-led service organizations and charities. Through the internet, we connect students with worthy charities. By creating a bond between the student and the charity, we raise awareness of these important goals (of the charity) and promote enthusiasm for the project (by the students). Students are always more excited about a project they feel connected to and are excited about.

I went to a high school where our key club was inactive. In fact, with good reason. They didn't know what to do. The leaders were just kids and the faculty advisers were overworked. The intelligent, creative and driven students didn't have time to rise through the "Key Club leadership chain" to get to the role of President so they could implement their ideas. So, they just made their own organizations. They made "Net Night," a basketball tournament to stop malaria in Africa. ES will provide resources to students like these who have ideas but don't know how to implement them -- or to students who don't know they have ideas that are just waiting to come out.

the plan of action:

Empowering Students is a registered not-for-profit in the State of Indiana. Fundraising is underway for an effective marketing campaign targeting Indiana and midwest high schools as well as several midwest colleges. Our professional web page is in the planning stages and will be rolled out before an official release of our organization hopefully by the end of November, 2011. Seed money, now, would go towards marketing our idea.
