Building on Super Bowl Excitement (Literally!)
While the bright lights of Cowboys Stadium seemed glamorous during the Super Bowl this past weekend, the surrounding city of Arlington, Texas is not always as sparkly. Luckily, last week HGTV’s Carter Oosterhouse and actress Amy Smart used Super Bowl fever to shed some light on community improvement in the area. The couple joined volunteers from several organizations in order to participate in the 16th annual Kickoff to Rebuild, an event that works to improve low-income neighborhoods.

Last Wednesday, celebs rolled up in hybrid cars to walk down the green carpet in eco-friendly frocks for the 18th Annual Environmental Media Awards in LA. The EMA awards seek to reward those in the entertainment industry who "convey environmental messages in the most creative and influential ways," according to their website.
