Couch Potatoes Beware: Celebs Encourage Active Lifestyles
Some of our favorite celebs will be flipping over some couch potatoes this week. Stars like LeBron James, Terrell Owens, and Victoria Justice will appear with Michelle Obama at the White House on Saturday to promote Nickelodeon's World Wide Day of Play, a time when the network suspends their TV broadcast and websites to encourage kids to go outside and be active.
The A-list event will feature fitness activities for kids and families, and appearances from:
LeBron James: The cartoon character?
You read that correctly. An announcement was made today of the launch of a new, animated web series called The LeBrons. The YouTube series will be a family entertainment show focused on communicating positive messages to the youth community.
LeBron James is deciding for Boys and Girls
The whole sports world cannot stop talking about NBA super star LeBron James since he became a free-agent last week. And just last night, Maverick Carter, CEO of LRMR Marketing, said that LeBron will formally announce which team he will play for on an ESPN hour-long special tomorrow night. But, perhaps more importantly, LeBron’s team will sell sponsorships to the show, with proceeds donated to the Boys & Girls Club of America.

NBA All-Star LeBron James and Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons led a rally today for Presidential hopeful Barack Obama in Cleveland, Ohio to encourage people to register to vote.
The “Cleveland Register for Change Rally” saw the celeb pair urging Ohioans to register before Monday’s deadline, and to cast their ballots during the early voting period before Election Day.
