Taylor Swift couldn't join us out in L.A. (major bummer), but she did want to show her love and thanks for getting called out as Do Something Concert winner. The sparkle-loving country star raised over $750,000 at a benefit concert in Nashville to help all who suffered through the tornadoes that ravaged the southeast this spring.

MTV has announced the first-ever "Best Video With a Message" category. The special category, in conjunction with MTV Act, celebrates the union between music and social activism, and highlights artists who created music videos that made us think about the world around us. These artists could have just made party songs, but instead they also took a stand against bullying, fought for LGBT rights and reminded us why we're all special.
