Lady Gaga is all about the giving. The mega-pop star and gay rights activist took top honors in the “Top 20 Celebs Gone Good” list for 2010 compiled by Web site DoSomething.org. The site credits Gaga with spending much of her time fighting for the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” while serving as the face of the MAC Viva Glam campaign, with 100 percent of its proceeds going to fight AIDS.

The website for the not-for-profit youth organisation praised GaGa over supporting same-sex marriage and calling for the repeal of the 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' military policy. "Her ladyship also hosted the Hands Up for Marriage Equality event supporting same-sex marriage and was the face of MAC Viva Glam, with 100% of the proceeds going to prevent HIV/AIDS worldwide," read a post on the site.
