I'm not a big fan of adults, and I'm frankly beginning to doubt their ability to make our world a better place. Take Congress -- please. On the other hand, I've been heartened in recent weeks by working on The 2011 VH1 Do Something! Awards -- which airs tonight at 9PM. The show -- hosted by the amazing and consistently hilarious Jane Lynch -- puts the spotlight on young people making a difference by "rocking the causes" that matter the most to them, as well as celebrating lots of more familiar celebrities who use their star power for the common good.

Hollywood’s most generous stars dazzled on the blue carpet at Sunday night’s 2011 Do Something! Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Allie is Wired was there to catch it all! The Do Something! Awards honor young people’s commitment to social change and also award celebrities who give back.

We’ve already told you about the all-star lineup of presenters and performers who will be at the 2011 Do Something! Awards this year, a list that includes Adam Lambert, Victoria Justice, and Nick Cannon, to name a few. But just today we learned of a few more A-listers who will be on hand at the show and if we can be quite honest, this list? It’s insane.
