Model UN is a simulation of the United Nations General Assembly and other multilateral bodies. Students can participate in the conference to learn how the world's most famous foreign policy association promotes peace, human rights, and other influences.

Prepare your friends and classmates for participation in the conference by forming a Model UN team.

If you have a group of people of different religions (or even different denominations), lead this activity to help promote respect and understanding.

Every animal deserves to be comfortable, including the ones living in animal shelters, waiting to be adopted. Make the animals' cages more comfortable by creating blankets for donations.

Capture Stories

Go around and write down or record memories from residents. Their stories can around a theme like:

• Your favorite memories of grade school.
• The best first date you ever went on.
• Where you were during a major world event (i.e. Pearl Harbor)

Make a booklet from the stories and distribute copies for residents to read. It'll make entertaining reading for everyone.
