Don't know about this...
Don't think you should really do this. I mean I like the ideal that you would do this for hungery people but if you didn't know that's kinda illegal just becareful is all I say. I knew someone who did that perfessionally and that person is under investigation by the FBI. That's why there are copyright labels on products such as cds, dvds, and the likes.
Just some advice,
Whitewolf
But continue to think about ways to help hunger problems.
The cans are a very good ideal though.
Harmony for Hunger
I thought since i create a bunch of burned CD's with various artists, I would sell them for like 5 bucks each at my garage sale in the summer and donate the money earned to the local Food Shelf or go around the neighborhood and collect cans for the Food Shelf like my Church is doing
simple idea
get some friends together (with parents permission) and go around your neighborhoods with boxes and print out or make fliers to show and tell your neighbors what your cause is for. then ask if they have any extra canned food that they don't need or want. you'd be suprised at how much people have.
good luck
Collect Cans the Easy Way!
5 Easy Steps to Make a Dent in the Canned Food Shortage this Holiday Season!
1) Get some friends together and collect some used cardboard boxes
2) Wrap the boxes to make them look festive (and more appealing)
3) Create a logo for your can drive to make the wrapped boxes easily identifiable
4) Ask neighborhood stores if you can leave a canned food collection box in their shop (be sure to explain why!)
5) Contact local press and let them know which stores are on board. With any luck they'll run a piece on your effort and let readers know where they can bring cans
food is everywhere
Food is all around us. Is it possible for anyone to believe that animals survive in the wild everyday without a grocery store? Perhaps there is a way to educate the people on what to find in the wild without killing anything. If one person could understand this and then they could relay this message to another, a great deed is done.
HAlloween for hunger
a great idea, make fliers and give out a week before(suggested you do only one st.) and on halloween buddy up with some one and a waggon and collect the food and bring to the local food bank.
Again?!
I just had another idea!
If you plant a garden in your backyard or at a community park, you can donate fresher food. It would probably have to stay somewhere close, so the food doesn't go bad too fast.
(I just keep thinking up ideas.)
Hunger Relief...Again
Holding charity events to raise money is also a good idea. When you get enough money, you can buy all sorts of non-parishable foods to donate.
Hunger Relief
Having canned food drives at schools and places like the Boys and Girls Club would make a great difference in the lives of families.
