Amanda Beard takes it off for PETA
via PETA
Swimmer, activist, and Olympic gold medalist Amanda Beard launched her risky
advertisement for the animal rights group PETA (People for the Ethical
Treatment of Animals) on Wednesday.
The slogan for the PETA ad: "Be comfortable in your own skin. Don't wear
fur," features Beard in water completely nude posing in front of the American
flag. The Olympian is among other celebs such as Pamela Anderson and Alicia Silverstone who have sworn they will never wear fur.
"I have seen a lot of the videos, and (it) brings me to tears," the star
swimmer said in a PETA statement. "What (some people) think is pretty is
actually something that's very gruesome and gross."
What do you think, was an Olympic athlete baring it all too much, even for a
cause like PETA?

If I had her body, i'd never wear clothes, let alone fur. But seriously, fur is gross. I don't even think fake fur looks good.
