Jewel kisses to end violence

Grammy Award winning singer and newlywed!--Jewel puckers up to eliminate domestic violence, teaming up with Mary Kay Cosmetics as a spokesperson for their "A Kiss for Country" initiative to end domestic violence.

At an event at the Morning Star Sanctuary domestic violence shelter near Nashville Jewel said, "It's a topic that's close to my heart. I was homeless for a year and saw first hand how sometimes the streets can be safer than what's at home."Jewel in return left behind lip prints and an autograph to be auctioned off for the charity.
