The woman does not stop!! I love everything she is doing for refugees but I'd like to start reading about someone else for a change. Well, if I have to...
Angelina Jolie is in Iraq right now to boost efforts to get help for those who are internally displaced. More than 4.2 million have fled their homes in Iraq and 2 million of those are in neighboring states without any idea of what to do next. As a goodwill ambassador for UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Jolie is pushing governments, NGOs, and the rest of the global community to come up with a plan to help these people... and she has the power to be heard. So far, Jolie has met with top Iraqi officials, including the Prime Minister, and General David Petraeus, the top US commander for Iraq, all with a snap of her fingers.

In a CNN interview, Jolie says,
I felt I had to come here because it is very difficult to get answers about especially the internally displaced people. It's as I said even U.N.H.C.R. who I traditionally work with -- they are not able to be inside at the moment and so I was very frustrated and just getting a bunch of ideas and papers but not knowing what's really going on, so so today I'm able to talk to all different people from our government and their government and really get some answers as to what is holding up the processes to really really assist these people properly. source
Of the 2 million internally displaced, 58% are estimated to be under the age of 12. source
