Ed Norton has been promoting the development of green spaces in urban areas for some time. He joined with leading solar panel producer BP to develop the Solar Neighbors Program: every time a celebrity buys a solar system from BP Solar, one of Enterprise Community Partners’ low-income families gets one for free. So far, more than 25 systems have been donated by celebs such as Owen Wilson, Brad Pitt, Danny DeVito, and Robin Williams.

In the chat, Norton pointed out that its easy to make a difference through everyday actions, "One of the things I like about "Strange Days" is that at the end of each story showing the hidden interconnections between global events, the writers tie it back to our small daily actions and offer simple, clear ways that we can alter our daily choices and affect these dynamics. Most of it is genuinely easy, requiring little sacrifice or extra effort."
