Club Spotlight

The brand new Do Something Club at Jasper High School in Sam Rayburn, Texas has been volunteering up a storm this month!

They've started 4 projects including a campaign for clean water, launching a plastic recycling program at school, and volunteering twice a month at their local senior center.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! You've definitely earned your $250 start up grant. Be sure to post pictures so we can feature your work on the homepage!

Is your club doing good with music? Do Something and the Grammy Foundation are looking for young people who are using music to make a difference.

Apply for a Key Change Grant and you could win:

  • One of 5 $3000 community action grants
  • One of 20 $500 community action grants
  • An all expenses paid trip to the GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles on February 8th, 2009!

Feed the Need!

Do Something is teaming up with the new film "The Soloist" to help you fight hunger. Start a Feed The Need food drive in your school or community. We'll be hooking up the best drives with some awesome prizes. You could win:

  • One of 5 $1,000 donations to an arts/music program of your choice.
  • A private screening of "The Soloist" in your school
  • Great swag and more!

Take the lead in greening America. Join 1sky.org's campaign to call on the new president-elect and members of congress to make climate change an immediate priority!

Increase Your Green

The competition is off to a great start! Over 325 schools nationwide are launching new recycling programs, carpooling to school, and petitioning the cafeteria to add local and organic foods to the menu.
