Caitlin started MHOP to help Malian residents work with the government to ensure the availability of quality healthcare. MHOP has reached 60,000 people with programs for health outreach, microfinance, literacy and peer education.

Caitlin chairs the Mali Health Organizing Project and is also on the board of the International Journal for Occupational and Environmental Health. But most of the time he’s in Medical School!

She is also returning to Mali this summer to help develop new program to generate income from plastic recycling which will help pay for the clinic.

Caitlin has received the Jack Kent Cooke scholarship, which is allowing her to study for a MD and MBA. She was also nominated for a Rolex Award for Enterprise!
