After both of her grandfathers passed away from cancer, Jena decided to help others battling this disease and started Princess of Hope Pageant. Enlisted help from other pageant participants to hold annual pageants for kids fighting cancer and other terminal illnesses. Every contestant receives an award.

Jena still runs her project and the pageants have been held in Winder, Tennessee, New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, California and she will be expanding into South Carolina. She is currently seeking individuals wishing to hold Prince and Princess of Hope Pageants in their communities.

The "Prince and Princess of HOPE" pageant recently went international! And, Jena recently had the chance to crown 100 children affected by HIV/AIDS in one of the world's largest slums outside of Cape
Town, South Africa.

Jena resides in Los Angeles, CA and is pursuing modeling and acting full time. Some of her accomplishments include: booking the role of “Cherie” on CW’s Vampire Diaries, filmed a CBS pilot called “The Defenders,” landed a lingerie print campaign for Leg Avenue, and more! Jena is thrilled that Do Something has grown and is still serving young activists!
