William is the COO of Youth Enrichment Services which is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of young people through outdoor adventure programs. YES is accredited with supporting outdoor recreational service providers and adds a boost of much needed diversity in sports such as skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and kayaking.
Since its founding in 1968, YES has taught 145,000 youth how to ski or snowboard. YES continues to empower urban kids from low income areas and serves well over 2,000 youth each.
William has witnessed how kids who conquer mountains learn how to conquer their fears and gain a confidence that will stay with them throughout a life time. William says that adventure sports have allowed him to tackle new challenges in unfamiliar environments.
William was appointed to the Massachusetts State Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee and served as the chair of the grants committee. Since winning a Do Something Award, he has had four children, been a cast member on Discovery Channel’s "The Monastery" series, and gotten his Undergrad and Master degrees.
