Can the world stop looking out for their interests and start thinking for the betterment of humanity.

Over the years the selfishness of the world has grown. We have stopped caring about the innocent people affected by genocide, war and human rights violations. The United States and other nations of power sit by and watch as innocent men, women and children are tortured, murdered, raped. If there is no oil, why care? If it doesn't affect us, eh? But as a human we should all care. We are one people. One world. We are all the same. If it was happening to us we would pray that the world would help us. So why do we back these governments that commit such atrocities? Why do we just sit back and watch?

Israel has been back by the United States and Europe for many years. Turning our backs on Israel's crimes against humanity. Their relentless bombings of Palestine. Here are some of the war crimes Israel has committed:

-Killing of civilians
-Burying people alive in their homes
-Executions of prisoners
-Killing civilians that were too close to windows, or that left their house to bring their wounded to hospitals or to put out fires
-Deliberate attacks on ambulance cars
-Preventing medical assistant to the wounded and sick
-Preventing any kind of humanitarian aid
-Torture of prisoners (Yes, America is guilty too and the right people should be punished in a court of law)
-Destruction of homes, water and sewage systems

By America standing by Israel we are saying that we promote these disgusting acts. Right now we are only looking to our interests. America wants a democracy in the Middle East, a pro-west nation. But we must not support a nation that commits such atrocities. We are just as wrong as Israel if we do not stand up and speak out. I am calling for a non violent protest against Israel to pressure them into peace, that everybody deserves to live in a free nation.

Saudi Arabia is another human rights violators. Although women are allowed an education, women have no right to work, and no right to drive cars. Which leaves them dependent on their husbands completely even if they live in abusive homes. There is no freedom of press to speak out against the government. They cannot have their own political parties. Public beheadings, floggings, and chopping off hands are still in practice. Yet, America still supports Saudi Arabia because of our addiction to oil. We don't care who gets hurt in the process, we don't care if our so called "allies" treat their people badly.

The Sudan is a big one. The Janjaweed militia is a government backed force that has been massacring the Darfur people. Systematically killing, raping. Genocide. 400,000 people have already been killed by the Sudanese government. 3 million people have been displaced and are now living in refugee camps that rely on aid from other countries. The U.S. doesn't support the Sudanese government. But we sit back and watch as more and more people are hunted down and killed like animals because of who they are. China supports the Sudanese government because they can buy cheap oil from the Sudan. While the Sudanese government takes that money to buy weapons to kill women and children. Many petitions have been signed for China to get them to stop. They have the power to tell the Sudan that they won't buy anymore oil unless they stop violating human rights. But they don't. It is not in China's interest. Sadly that is how the world works. Unless we can change it. If we get enough people I believe we can.
