Educating our students that they too can change the world!
One child with the help of other children is doing something to help the lives of AIDS orphans in Africa.
In 2004 Kendall was 11 and was inspired to help the AIDS orphans in Africa after watching an Oprah special on television. Since than Kendall started the cause Kids Caring 4 Kids and has raised over $750,000 for orphans in Africa.
Kids Caring 4 Kids aim is not only to support orphans, but to encourage children to help and realise that they too can help change the world. Children have banded together, conducted fundraisers, donated birthday money, sold T-shirts, held community and school events all to help raise funds for KC4K. Children are inspiring one another, their families & friends to care.
The power of children is under-estimated they are and will continue to change the world for the better.
Kids Caring 4 Kids has an 'i care 2' kit which helps kids organise, publicise and conduct fundraisers and includes an inspiring dvd http://media.causes.com/530217 Schools, individuals and community groups can order their free 'i care 2' kits http://www.kidscaring4kids.org/getinvolved/i_care_2_kit
to help kick start their fundraising.
It is easier for 1000 to give 1, than for 1 to give 1000...and when children band together their power and passion is unstoppable. Just see what Kids Caring 4 Kids is doing...Amazing things! http://www.kidscaring4kids.org
