Encouraging, Promoting, and Training Student Leaders in Middle and High School

At Unified Theater (www.unifiedtheater.org) all our school-based programs are led by student leaders. We're curious how others are promoting meaningful student leadership in middle and high schools? Or how middle and high school students have experienced leadership?
