How to help the hungry

Each year our school has a canned food drive. All the cans we donate go to a Help the Hungry Foundation. I think more schools should do this. If your school already does this get more people to participate. Canned food isn't that expensive. If every kid at your school brought in a can, think of all the cans you could get. Then if you have kids bring in more than one can you have a lot to pass around. If people are too lazy or don't want to bring cans, ask your administrative office if there could be certain rewards for the amount of cans you bring.For example our school has a mixer after the canned food drive. The mixer costs 4 dollars. The teachers decided that if you bring 8 cans you get to go. Then the home room class with the most cans gets a doughnut party. Little things that interest the population of your classmates could make a big difference in the amount of cans you can donate.
