But I don't support our troops!

So, dosomething's December campaign is "support our troops". The only problem with that is that I don't. I can't support war! See, my problem is that all the people in Iraq signed up to be there. If they had been drafted, I would see this project completely differently. However, they were not drafted, and therefore, I must say, I have little sympathy for their situation. I know that people join the military for a variety of reasons, and I do not judge them for it. However, I don't feel that I have anything to thank them for, as a matter of fact, I think it's a terrible thing to do. But before anyone gets mad about that last statement, let me first say that my mother was in the military; and soldier of the year.
People sign up to kill each other, and I do not think that that is right. Nor do I think that do something should be running a campaign thanking people who signed up for murder; and then turning around and saying that they are four peace. Does anyone else feel this way?
