NEW PROJECT!!
Hello Dosomethingers!:) I would like to ask your opinion on a new project that I would like to start. I want to start a project involving the self esteem issues that young girls and teens face. We live in a quick fix technology world where everthing can be photoshopped and super skinny is the only thing that is considered beautiful. There is more to beauty then how you look, beauty is how you act and treat others. I am a teenage girl and I cannot tell you how many times I hear, "I'm so fat, no guy would ever date me" or "I am sooooooo ugly!" from people. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Everyone has there days when they do not always feel 100% confident, and that happens. But when that once in awhile bad day turns into everyday or every other day, then we have a problem. This would be a project that not only would help girls feel good about their appearence, but also to be able to help others and show their Inner Beauty. Thoughts? I was thinking about calling it Project Facelift (kind of because it would be ironic and face lift as in turning frowns into smiles, a new outlook on life kind of thing.), but that is only temporary. I am bad at naming things, so any help especially in that area would be amazing! :) This is just an idea and I have not told anyone about it yet, except for you reading this right now. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I would love the input of EVERYONE, not just teen girls! Thanks! <3

soccerck-aww, well thank you. that is a great idea, i will try to somehow make a website, but im not to great with technology. i screw up my computer on a regular basis. :) haha this is really important to me, so im going to work hard on making this happen! thank you again for commenting!!! oh, and i play soccer too!!!! :) <3

I like your idea! Maybe you could start a cause or group on Facebook and get people in your school to invite their friends - that's a great way to start out and gain support for your organization. Good luck with the website! It seems overwhelming at first to try to figure out all the techie stuff, but after a while you'll get used to it.

I am one of those girls. I have a reason to be though, I went through scoliosis surgery when I was in the 8th grade I am now a junior in highschool and I mean the scar doesn't make me feel ugly at all. Now I have another surgery to go through for my jaw, its crooked and pushed out. Doctors say that if I don't have it fixed it will only get worse. I hate taking pictures and I hate smiling.
Gigglyheart01850~First off I would like to congratulate you on your strength so far. I bet that it was not easy. Just remember that beauty comes from the inside. I know that sounds extremely cliche, but it is true. Something you can do is every morning look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL inside and out. I know that that personally helps me when I feel that I dont look so amazing. MOST IMPORTANTLY God made you just the way you are,and he NEVER makes mistakes. :) Embrace it! as for smiling, it not only shows people your wonderful personality and confidence, but did you ever stop to think what YOUR smile can mean to someone? You could make someone's day and help someone feel better!!! I know you can do anything, everyone has got a little fight in them. Keep going amd remember that you are truly beautiful. Yes, I do. There is Weebly.com and there is Webs.com. They are both reliable sources and domains cost around ten bucks or you can use webs free domain where your address is like www.blablabla.webs.com. I used it for school and got an A on my project. I hope this helps you out.
