outreach programs that house the homeless makes a difference with scattersite

This is my first encounter with the site. So feel free to give me feed back. But for those that do not know about homelessness it cost less to house a homeless person in nyc than to keep them in the streets that is why there have been pilot programs that have been successful in the city area that are contributing to the cause.
Why? you may be thinking that it cost less to house the homeless because the amount in high rate of hospitalization visits due to injury, and mental institution would cost the city more. It would cost less to house them because once house there are more opportunity to revitalize them into society by sending them to out patient and rehab programs.
