Road-Trip for Something

Hi,

I am fairly new to the website. So please bare with me. =)

For many years now I have been a Youth Leader for the American Red Cross, and it has completely changed my life. I have always wanted to see how a few passionate individuals ( like myself ) could make changes in the world while helping and stepping out of our communities.
So my partner and I have come up with an idea to either bike or drive across america in search of volunteer opportunities and experience. Among the two of us we have experience in Tutoring, Youth education, Environmental science, and some international issues. We are looking to plan out the trip, So it would be ideal to already have some of the volunteer stops planed. But not mandatory, I like the element of surprise!

I know this is crazy but I figure why not start off doing something huge.

I am hoping that everyone from all over can help me in planning this trip.

Things that I would like to have to make this successful adventure:

-We would like for other passionate people that think this would be fun to email me, we definitely would love to meet and work with other people. (B/c this is a trip across the country I ask that if you want to travel with us you be over the age of 19yrs old)

-We would love to participate in any and all projects. So if you are in need of extra help, WE WANT TO HELP. (This is the big part, our idea is to stop in every state and do something. So this is SO important. Please email me any project that you are working on, so I can schedule accordingly. )

So thats it really. I would love to hear what everyone thinks of the idea. =)
