I am fairly new to the website. So please bare with me. =)

For many years now I have been a Youth Leader for the American Red Cross, and it has completely changed my life. I have always wanted to see how a few passionate individuals ( like myself ) could make changes in the world while helping and stepping out of our communities.

What do you think about these issues. Your opinions are really important to me, because they will be apart of an experiment/assignment that I am creating to raise awareness for Habitat for Humanity, I am crating a blog, and when I finish it, I will post it. What are ways we can help Haiti?

Volunteering over Seas.

With the recent Tragedies in Haiti I've been trying to find a way to help Haiti. I've started raising money and getting others to raise money. But I want to do more, I wish I knew a way that I could go to Haiti, I want to help beyond just collecting cash. For now I'm going to do what I can, but if any one knows anything about organizations that let teens volunteer over seas, please share!

Life Connections Missions Club

To all my dear do something workers, my name is Erica and I have recently started the Life Connections Missions Club, originating from Life Connections Missions. This club tackles proverty mainly in Haiti and parts of villages surrounding this country. I recently accompinied the vice president and others to Haiti and saw the horrible conditions there. Although I am very young I plan to start this club and keep it going even when I get out of High school and go to college.
