Award Description: 
Ruth Stanton is 94 years old and has volunteered in her community and for this nation all her life. To honor her lifetime dedication and service, her family is offering a $500.00 grant to the person, family, or organization who most reflects Ruth’s dedication and life long service.
Eligibility Guidelines: 
Answer the following three essay questions in 100 words or less each and include one letter of recommendation from a non-family member. 1. How would $500.00 help you change your community or make the world a better place? Identify concrete steps to reach your goals. 2. What projects have you already done? (Photo’s will be accepted and will be returned with SASE only.) 3. List the awards have you won for your past community service. If you haven’t won any yet, tell me why you deserve recognition for your accomplishments. Secure one non-family member to submit a letter of recommendation for you that is familiar with your community service accomplishments. Applications must include your name, age (optional), address and phone number. Apply either online or by mail.
