To recognize kids who have made a difference in their own neighborhoods, schools, and communities by selflessly giving their time to a specific cause. Students complete a short essay describing their cause, activities related to the cause, the impact on the cause, and the lasting inspiration towards others. 10 grand prizes of a 3 day- 2 night trip to a sponsor-specified city for two people, for a professional photo shoot to be included in Build-A-Bear Workshop Calender, $7500 educational savings scholarship, and $2500 donation toward a winner-designated cause. In addition 25 finalists and 75 semi-finalists are selected for various prizes including Build-A-Bear gift cards.
