To recognize kids who have made a difference in their own neighborhoods, schools, and communities by selflessly giving their time to a specific cause. Students complete a 300 word essay describing their cause, activities related to the cause, the impact on the cause, and the lasting inspiration towards others. 12 grand prizes of a 3 day- 2 night trip to a sponsor-specified city for two people, for a professional photo shoot to be included in Build-A-Bear Workshop Calender, $2500 donation toward a winner-designated cause. In addition 32 finalists and 140 semi-finalists are selected for various prizes including Build-A-Bear gift cards.
